Happy Thanksgiving!
Sunrise over New Mexico. We were not blown off the the mountain despite the winds best efforts.
The view was worth it though.
We were greeted on Turkey day by a giant road runner. Wes and I have seen three and we were happy to finally have one the kids could also see. Lol!
New mountains.
New State.
Those particular mountains are where we are heading.
We were looking for dispersed camping but nothing seemed right. Too many people. Not enough trees. Too close to a busy road. Finally after driving an hour into the Coronado Forest, we found our spot.
Tucked down at the bottom of a canyon, we were surrounded by views on all sides.

So glad the kids got to see a roadrunner. One of our fave birds! Scenery so pretty in this part of country.
